Worked at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Securities in their Investment Banking Division, covering the Internet, Telecommunications and Media sectors. As an investment banker, he led transactions with various companies from unlisted ventures to listed companies in Tokyo, New York, and Hong Kong. Joined WiL as a founding Partner in 2014. Engaged in startup investment and support. Major investments as a venture capitalist, include Mercari, STORES, RevComm, CADDi, and UPSIDER.
Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Economics. Passed CPA examination with Assistant Accountant qualification. Member of the Global Committee of the Japan Venture Capital Association.
