He earned a Master’s degree in Physics from Waseda University Graduate School. At Nexway Co., Ltd., he was responsible for sales, business strategy, and development of B2B IT solutions. Joined ResuPress Inc. (renamed Coincheck, Inc. in April 2017) and was appointed Director in February 2014. In April 2018, when Coincheck Inc. became a subsidiary of Monex Group, Inc., assumed the role of Executive Officer, overseeing marketing and business development. After serving as Executive Officer, took on the role of Executive Officer and Head of the Web3 Cloud Business Division in September 2023, overseeing the Web3 Cloud business, including the embedded cryptocurrency purchase service “Coincheck OnRamp.” In September 2024, assumed the position of Executive Officer, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).
