After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (Benjamin Franklin Scholar, Vagelos Scholar), Urijah worked on the development of MGA’s core systems in its early days (still running).
Later, he was a product manager on the team that built the end-to-end insurance infrastructure for Allstate Insurance Company’s homeowners’ insurance. After a long period of PM experience in core insurance system development, he realized the importance of a no-code insurance development and distribution platform like Shopify, and founded Protosure in 2017.
