Before starting Inovat, Ilya was an investor at a London-based early-stage VC fund FOM Capital. He has expertise in managing teams and holds MSc in Accounting (with a focus on VAT) degree from the London School of Economics. Ilya sold a professional E-sports business he set up at the age of 19 to a large gaming corporation (NaVi/Natus Vincere), which was his first example of a successful exit. He then managed to settle operations of Inovat in the UK and was the only entrepreneur to obtain the license to operate the digital tax refund process in 5 major shopping countries.
